This Privacy Policy explains how Baanmatch ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our recruitment marketplace. By using Baanmatch, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and the profile information you provide. For candidates this may include your name, headline, bio, skills, location, experience, and an uploaded CV; for companies this may include your company name, description, website, logo, industry, size, and location.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the platform: to power profiles, vacancy listings, candidate discovery, applications, messaging, and notifications, and to send transactional emails (for example, when you receive a new application or message).

How information is shared

Company profiles and open vacancies are publicly visible. Candidate profiles and CVs are visible to companies on the platform to support recruitment. Messages are visible only to the participants of a conversation. We do not sell your personal data.

Data storage

Your data is stored using Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage). We apply row-level security so users can only access the data they are permitted to see.

Your rights

You can edit your profile at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. An administrator may suspend or remove accounts that violate our Terms.
