What is Baanmatch?
Baanmatch is a two-sided recruitment marketplace that connects candidates and companies. Candidates discover and apply to roles; companies post vacancies and reach out to candidates directly.
Is Baanmatch free to use?
Yes. Creating an account, building a profile, applying to vacancies, and messaging are free for both candidates and companies.
How do I sign up?
Click Get started, create an account with your email, and choose whether you're a candidate or a company during onboarding. You can complete your profile right after.
How do I apply to a vacancy?
Open a vacancy and use the apply form. You can add a short cover message and attach your CV (PDF) plus up to 10 portfolio files. You can withdraw an application at any time.
How do companies and candidates communicate?
Through built-in real-time messaging. Companies can message candidates and candidates can message companies; you get a notification (and an optional email) when someone replies.
Who can see my CV and profile?
Company profiles and open vacancies are public. Your CV is private and is only visible to a company once you've applied to one of its vacancies. You can edit your profile or request account deletion at any time.
Can I use Baanmatch in Dutch?
Yes. Use the EN / NL toggle in the header (or the profile menu when signed in) to switch the whole site between English and Dutch.
